Prevention Services
Integrea offers community-based programs centered on substance use prevention in Chambers, Lee, Russell, and Tallapoosa County.
These programs aim to change community norms related to adolescent substance use and provide community-based education on dangers and risks associated with drug use.
Prevention services houses community coalitions, youth advisory groups, school-based education, and outreach programs.
Youth Advisory Boards are composed of 8th-12th grade students. These youth-led groups meet monthly and educate local youth on substance abuse topics to create positive and healthy environments in their communities while growing their public speaking, community engagement, and advocacy skills.
Available Youth Advisory Board Locations: Lee, Russell, and Tallapoosa Counties.
CARES stands for Coalitions Advocating for Responsible Environments and is made up of individuals from various agencies and community organizations. Members of the coalition represent diverse cultures and are familiar with the community and have a common interest in the safety and overall well-being of the youth and community members in their area.
